FAQs
Question: I run a trading company, but my Japanese clients only consult with Japanese employees, regardless of their position. Why is this?
Answer: Because Japanese conversations are less prone to misunderstandings and because Japan has specific business customs and work styles. Business conversations are very different from everyday conversations. Many large companies provide new employees with on-the-job training (OJT), which focuses on teaching them how to use honorific language, humble language, write emails, answer the phone, and give and receive business cards.
If you can learn Japanese and understand Japanese business customs, Japanese clients will be very reliant on you.I recommend you to pass the BJT(Business Japanese Test)
